The Nanaimo Timbermen have won two games in row after a 10-9 road win in Burnaby on Sunday. Nanaimo was up 7-3 after one but were outscored 5-0 in the second period. The Tmen ended the game on a three goal run to take their second win in a row and move their record to 2-3. Mitch Parker led the way with four goals, Brett Hawrys had two, and Cody Short had a goal and two assists. Pete Dubenski took the win in goal with a 42 save performance.
Wednesday Nanaimo continues their rivalry with the Victoria Shamrocks with a home game at 7:30 at Frank Crane Arena. Nanaimo is home to Burnaby on Saturday.
