The Nanaimo Timbermen beat the Burnaby Lakers 11-7 on Saturday. It was the fourth win in a row for the Tmen who lead wire to wire for the second game in a row. Nanaimo had huge performances from Brett Hawrys with his second straight six point game (4g 2a), and Dane Sorenson with three goals and one assist.
Aidan Milburn had three goals for Burnaby and Randy Jones had two but Pete Dubenski was stellar in net all game for the Timbermen.
With a Victoria loss to Delta, Nanaimo is 4-3 and fourth place in the BCJALL heading into Sunday's road game in Port Coquitlam.
