The Nanaimo Timbermen won their third game in a row 16-12 over Victoria Shamrocks on Wednesday. The Tmen led 5-3 after one, 13-7 after two, and never trailed in the game. Corey Shires led the way with one goal and six assists, Dane Sorenson had five goals and one assist, and Brett Hawrys had two goals and four assists.
This Saturday the Tmen are back in action against theBurnaby Lakers Saturday at 5:00PM at Frank Crane Arena.
Nanaimo's record is now 3-3 on the season.
