Timbermen Drop Out of Playoff Contention

A difficult weekend for a short manned Timbermen squad. They lost a tight game to the Delta Islanders 11-9 on Saturday, and went down 18-6 to the first place Salmonbellies on Sunday. The two results leave the Junior's out of playoff contention this season. Dane Sorenson had a tremendous weekend in a losing cause with 11 points in the two games.

A pair of home games for the Tmen this weekend, Saturday at Frank versus Langley at 3pm, and Sunday at 5pm at the NIC. Nanaimo's record is 5-11-1 on the season.
