Timbermen Deal Trade with Adanacs

The Nanaimo Timbermen have moved goalie Pete Dubenski and leading scorer Brett Hawrys to the Coquitlam Adanacs. In return the Tmen get the rights to top Intermediate scorer Mitch McDole and Tyson Walker from Maple Ridge, and the rights to Intermediates Colin Winship out of Cowichan and Connor Sutton from Nanaimo. The Timbermen also get a 4th round pick in the upcoming Midget Draft.

General Manager Jon Nicholson says getting Hawrys back in 2015 was the key to making this deal happen, and he's excited about the potential of the four newcomers for next year's team. He was quick to praise Hawrys and Dubenski for their outstanding service to the Timbermen, Dubenski for three seasons and Hawrys for the past two.

In separate transactions Nanaimo has acquired Jonathan Kraakman from Coquitlam for future considerations and have also added goalie Brad Everson to the roster.

This weekend the Timbermen wrap up the regular season with a home game Saturday versus Port Coquitlam at 3:00PM and a road game Saturday in Burnaby at 5:00PM.
