Thunder start 3-0
It was a busy four day stretch but more importantly, a successful start to the season for the Langley Junior Thunder.
The team kicked off their BC Junior A Lacrosse League season by playing a trio of games in three cities in a span of 74 hours by winning all three games.

The Thunder also won 11-8 on Friday against the host Port Coquitlam Saints and then 11-9 on Sunday afternoon at Langley Events Centre over the Victoria Junior Shamrocks.
Langley twice trailed by a single goal in the opening 20 minutes, but the score was tied at four at the intermission and after the teams exchanged goals to open the second, the Thunder closed the middle frame on a 4-1 run and never back.

Nathaniel Kozevnikov (one goal, three assists), Christian Bosa (one goal, two assists), Nathan McKeigan (two goals), Drew Kask (one goal, assist), Aidan Ellis (one goal, one assist) and Kyle Brunsch (two assists) also had multi-point games.
