Thunder open season with road tilt in Victoria

The Langley Thunder kick off their 2024  BC Junior A Lacrosse League campaign with a pair of games against their Vancouver Island counterparts.

Langley heads to Victoria to face the Shamrocks on May 11. The Thunder home opener is set for eight days later (May 19) when they welcome the Nanaimo Timbermen to Langley Events Centre. That game will be a Sunday matinee with a 3:30pm start time.

The Thunder have two other Sunday games (June 2 at 5:00pm against the Victoria Shamrocks and July 7 at 3:30pm against Nanaimo) with the remaining five home games being played on Thursday nights at 7:00pm.

The Thunder wrap up their 18-game regular season on July 11 with the top four teams qualifying for the post-season. The two league finalists will represent B.C. at the Minto Cup which is being played in Coquitlam this August.
