Thunder Look to Extend Unbeaten Streak, Host Bellies
Township of Langley, BC (Thursday, June 11, 2015) – The Langley Junior Thunder will look to extend their unbeaten streak to three games when they face-off against the New Westminster Junior ‘A’ Salmonbellies. Game time is 8:00PM at the Langley Events Centre.
The Thunder are coming off a 10-10 tie on Sunday afternoon against the Nanaimo Timbermen. Thomas Moffat led all Langley players with four points (0g, 4a) while Bryce Brochu scored three points (2g, 1a). Nanaimo had three players with five points each including Dane Sorensen who scored a hat-trick.
The Salmonbellies will play their second game in three night as they’re coming off a 9-6 win over the Port Coquitlam Saints on Tuesday at Queens Park Arena. Connor Robinson leads the team in scoring as the forward has 35 points in just eight games this season. Goaltender Tyler Landry ranks second in the BCJALL in goals against average (7.32).
