Thunder Extend Winning Streak to Three

It was looking bleak for the Langley Thunder on Wednesday night. Down 4-1 heading into the final period.
Mitch McDole scored in the opening 90 seconds of what should have been the final frame. Ryan Martel, Anthony Kalinich and another from McDole put the Thunder up 5-4 with 9:31 to play in the third. Coquitlam's Dennon Armstrong tied the game up less than a minute later to send the game into overtime, deadlocked at 5-5.
As if a four-goal third period was not impressive enough, Langley duplicated their efforts in extra time. Dawson Rodin, Mitch McDole. Tyson Kirkness and Ryan Martel all added markers in overtime leading the Thunder passed the Adanacs 9-6.
Heading into the game the talk of the game was Adanacs' goaltender Christian Del Bianco. But after the game they were talking about Thunder netminder Jake Sundar who played nearly 70 minutes of action stopping 59 shots and posting a .908 save percentage on the evening.
9-6 final in favour of the @ThunderBCJALL after overtime. Next game is Friday as we visit Poco.
