|POST GAME| Thrilling OT Loss

The Thunder found themselves down two goals heading into the final frame. Things looked bleak when the Salmonbellies added another marker shorthanded in the third to make it 9-6.

Less than two minutes later Matt Brunsch scored his first goal of the season to make it 9-7. The scoring dried up for both teams for the next ten minutes. But Mackenzie Rope tallied his 9th of the season to pull the Thunder within 1. The roll continued heading into the final two minutes. Nathaniel Kozevikov passed to Dawson Rodin who tied the game with 1:40 left in the third to send the game into overtime.

After a back and forth overtime, the Salmonbellies scored the game winner to reel in a 10-9 victory. 

The Thunder visit the Ladner Leisure Centre on Saturday night to take on the Delta Jr. Islanders at 7:00pm.
