Three In A Row
The Nanaimo Junior 'A' Timbermen in front of a home crowd extended their win streak to three games on Saturday after beating the Port Coquitlam Saints by a score of 13-8, Goaltender Jerryd Jensen recording his first BCJALL win, while Dane Sorensen returned back to the line-up.
It was a quiet first period with only four goals in total; Timbermen would open up the scoring by Dane Sorensen, but shortly after the Saints would tie things up by Tanner Rennich.
Cole Kryworucka would give the T-MEN the lead but with 1:13 to go James Baker would tie things up again, 2-2.
Second Period was where the T-MEN started to do some damage scoring seven goals while only allowing four; Alec Molander would net three, while Darrin Wilson, Cole Kryworuchka, Connor Leies and Cody short all added one goal in the second frame.
And in the final frame the T-MEN would add another four goals to take the game 13-8, Darrin Wilson would score his second of the game while Cole Kryworcucka would net his third of the game and Brett Hawrys and Monty Chisholm would add one.
Dane Sorensen's first game back he would tally a total of two points, one goal and one assist with seven shots. While Jensen stopped 33 of the 41 shots he faced for his first BCJALL win.
