LANGLEY THUNDER
The Timbermen travel to Victoria Tuesday for a first place showdown with the Shamrocks. Victoria is 4-4-1 and Nanaimo is 4-5-1. The Tmen took the first head to head meeting of the season 16-12 back on May 21st. Both clubs are coming off losses on Sunday, including a Timbermen comeback which fell just short at 14-12 in Langley. Nanaimo has also announced that defender Alex McDougall has been signed for the remainder of the season. McDougall played 33 games for the Tmen in 2012 and 2013.
This weekend the Timbermen are home for a pair of games at the Nanaimo Ice Centre. They host Langley on Saturday and New Westminster on Sunday, both start at 5:00PM.
