Junior A T-MEN Announce Commitments on Defense
The Junior A Timbermen look to have a strong defensive group for the 2015 season.
With defensive stalwart Kyle Couling behind the bench the Tmen players will have a tremendous resource to draw on.
Three newcomers to the back end will come from the Intermediate A Timbermen.
Curtis Novak had 3 points and 75 penalty minutes in 16 games, Chase Anderson had 4 points in 17 games, and Daryl DeFreitas had 4 points in 16 games.
Also in the mix is Corey Lister who played for Team Alberta U19 Field Lacrosse and Devan Smith, the younger brother of Senior A Defender Brandan Smith.
Smith played Junior A in Victoria back in 2012 and spent last season in Westshore.
The Timbermen will open the BCJALL season on April 26th in Coquitlam.
Nanaimo’s home opener is Saturday May 2nd against the Delta at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.
Season tickets for the Timbermen are now available. For $135 you can get an Adult seasons pass for both the Junior A and Senior A Tmen.
