Township of Langley, BC (Wednesday, July 2, 2014) – The Langley Junior ‘A’ Thunder agree to trade James Rahe to the Coquitlam Junior ‘A’ Adanacs for the remainder of the 2014 season and playoffs, including the Minto Cup. The trade is only for the remainder of the season, as Rahe’s playing rights return to Langley at the end of September 2014.
The Thunder also give up a 6th round pick in the 2016 draft, but acquire the Adanacs 1st round pick in the 2016 draft and their 3rd round pick in the 2015 draft. The Adanacs also agree to trade the rights of a pre-determined player that will be decided on September 30, 2014.
Furthermore, Rahe will be available for call up purposes to the Langley Thunder, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the Adanacs schedule. Rahe would become fully available to the Thunder, as the WLA playoffs continue on past the Minto Cup.
