Frustrating Game
It was all frustration on Sunday evening as the Nanaimo Timbermen would drop a 9-5 final against the Port Coquitlam Saints; nothing was going right for the Timbermen.
The Timbermen couldn't get anything started in the first period, but the Saints would get on the board twice, first by Sahawna Baker and second by Nathan Marken
In the second frame it was better for the Timbermen but the Saints would keep up their momentum, T-MEN added two goals first by Alec Molander and second by Brett Hawrys, Saints however would score four of their own to keep ahead of the game 6-2.
Each team would add three goals each in the third, which would give the Saints the upper hand in the 9-5 victory; Chase Anderson and Connor Leies would add one each while Brett Hawrys scored his second of the game.
The Timbermen were without Brody Glemnitz, Jordan Kuziek and Dave Mjoen.
Next up the Timbermen take on the Delta Islanders at the Island Savings Centre at 4:00PM in Dunca, game sponsor is Original Joes.
